COVID 19 Update

ROUTINE CARE NOW AVAILABLE!

As we resume seeing patients, our most important concern is your safety. We have always maintained strict cleaning and sanitation guidelines but have increased our efforts to prevent the spread of all infections, including COVID 19.

· We have removed most of the chairs from the waiting room to maintain at least 6 feet of social distancing. Our goal is to avoid the need for patients to spend time in that area.

· We wipe down all surfaces you or the staff may touch at the start of the day and between each patient.

· All equipment is sanitized with alcohol between each patient.

· If you are in a higher risk group, we will see you at the beginning of the day or immediately after lunch to minimize your exposure to other people.

· We have a Clean Frame Protocol. When you try on frames, we will place them in a tray and sanitize them before they are returned to the optical.

We continue to monitor health authorities to ensure proper safety protocols are in place to protect everyone.

You are our partner in this fight.

· We ask that you wear a mask or some type of face cover that covers your nose and mouth the entire time you are in the office. Office staff will also wear masks.

· All paperwork should be filled out prior to your arrival at the office.

· Insurance information should be updated and verified before you arrive.

· Each person will be asked to confirm :

o They have not traveled in the last 14 days.

o They have not had contact with anyone with a confirmed case of COVID 19 in the past 14 days.

o That they have not had a fever, difficulty breathing, or a cough in the past 14 days.

o If any questions are answered yes, they will be asked to reschedule and call their family doctor

· When you arrive, please remain outside and call the office. We will let you know when we are ready to start your examination.

· You will be asked to wash your hands (or your gloves if you have them on) before you touch anything inside the office.

· Your temperature will be taken with a Non-Contact thermometer. If you register over 100, you will be asked to leave the office immediately and call back to rescheduled after 14 days or if you have had a negative COVID 19 test.

· We will try and limit your time in the office for your safety.

Call us with any questions.
